I gave you a land on which you had not labored, and cities which you had not built, and you have lived in them; you are eating of vineyards and olive groves which you did not plant.
Do You Believe in the Forgiveness of Sins? The complete and utter wiping away without a trace of remembrance? The washing away of sins, after turning them blood red with a sacrificial sprinkling, so they are now as white as snow. The royal robing, of a once broken and defiled clay vessel, with priestly royal embroidered garments. Honored in sacred lines with gold and adorned with chrysolite, emerald, turquoise, sapphire and diamond just to name a few precious gems. The welcoming of your presence into a holy sanctuary of only the most righteous; a place of absolute perfection with manicured lawns, decadent vineyards and glimmering streams of living sanctifying water. This is your inherited estate and you are the royal priest there-within making daily offerings of thanksgiving with songs of praise to your most holy King. Do not be faint of heart or slack of entry; No, come now for the gates have been opened and the Almighty Vine-Dresser is hearkening unto you eagerly awaiting your return unto Him.
The Magnificent Expiation. The full forgiveness of sins. The wiping away of shame, reproach, guilt and regret. This is the spectacular work of the cross, when our Lord said, "It is finished;" He meant it is finished for you to bear the weight of your own depraved sin debt for He had just ransomed it upon a cursed tree. Now as this majestic High Priest is shining with the radiance of noonday glory, He is giving a free-will offering of complete forgiveness along with a rich inheritance of all the Spiritual treasures which have been stored up for you. If He should call you, would you come? Would you abandon the riches of this world for the eternal glory in Christ Jesus? Would you lay aside you worries and cares for the day, as Peter, at once, left his fishing nets to follow His Lord? Would you really? Would you cast all your nets for Him, today?
To Lay Down One's Net. I am weak with regret to know that some have been called, and are even chosen, but they've only partially dropped their nets to follow their Lord. How sorrowful is my heart to see! I know it is not for a lack of love of Him; but rather it's due their ignorance, as they don't know the full power of His calling. I want you to not receive a partial gift, but the full assurance of the atoning work upon that cursed cross in Calvary. To fully partake of the riches upon entry into the most holy place, whereupon we find the mercy-seat of God, that which has been hidden away for centuries but only now has been opened with your name as the guest of honor for your communion with God Almighty, Himself. Dear brothren, I do not want for you to have weekend visitations or only when the deepest calamities strike; rather I desire for you to come and lay down in the green pastures prepared for you, to give you rest from your many wayward futile travels. If only you could trust in the boldness of your entry and the nearness of it, then you'd drop you net most hastily, to rush with arms wide open and heart abandoned with joyful praises rising from your lips as a sweet and pleasing aroma to the LORD seated upon His most holy throne of grace. Where you can speak to the mountain by saying, "Move!" and it will move. And where you can stroll through the courtyards and find your rest. How handsome a cost He paid, yet ye only receive a fraction due you.
The Consecration of the Holy Bread and Water. This bread and water were brought down from heaven and endowed with power and authority over this world and everything within, even to the governing authorities and principalities. Oh this bread and water have dominion and possession over all. This bread is a costly ransom, yet it is freely given and as plentiful as the morning dew. All we must do is eat and drink so that we may live; gaining the full benefit of it now, today. Make hast in eating of it, daily, for it will nourish and refresh the entire body; leaving you to lack for nothing - making you satisfied: whole and complete. If only we would trust that eating of this bread, daily, would transform us into the likeness of our King, then we should eat for we would know that perfect peace, love and joy would become our life blood. We would know that eternal life would pump through our very veins today; leaving behind the stench of death which reeks of fear, anxiety and depression. Oh, if only you could hear from on High as the Spirit speaks through me so that you could grab hold of this truth and find the joy and peace which is freely available, right now. No longer should you lack these treasures, because of your ignorance of their grandeur. Take hold of the horns of salvation upon the mercy-seat today, for all who take hold upon them shall not be put to death.
Enter His Rest, While It's Still Stands. Enter now, lest any should fall away and hear the dreadful words, "Depart from Me, you workers of iniquity for I never knew you." Oh, run from these work, make hast to enter His rest while the gates are open. This most holy temple has been shut up and the prophets of old could only speak of it, but the good news has gone out that the King is receiving His guests now. We must prepare for the wedding feast which is about to give away. For all who believe, shall enter; for faith is the key given to man that will fling open the gates of heaven for your triumphant entry.
Our Dead Works Have Gained Us Rotten Spoils. Man has labored outside these gates; and his labor has earned him the title of depraved, the son of disobedience. Be quick to make entry into these gates, do not slumber, for today is the day and tomorrow was never promised. The keys are only given into the hands of those with the blood stains of their Savior upon them. Those who have come to the saving knowledge that they have gone astray from a holy and loving God. Entry is granted to all those who know they have transgressed the living God and now they are weary of hunger and thirst for righteousness, the fleeting crown that escaped their labor, for labor was in vain. Make straight the way for the path is not crooked; this path is narrow and the gates give way to a holy temple, where the Magnificent One resides upon His blood splattered throne of grace. Oh, please do not harden your hearts, but listen for the Master's still small voice that is calling for you.
The Holy Habitat of God is Rich in Mercy and Grace. The Almighty Powerful One is eagerly awaiting your triumphant return from your disobedience and your straying away. He is a tender-loving Father, patiently waiting and faithfully praying your return. A Father who is eager to feed and nourish His depraved son. A royal Father who wishes, as quickly as an imputation, to wash your conscious clean of your soiled dead works, and then to robe you in royal shades of glory. Oh, how He longs to see you enter through those most holy gates. How He has sat on high from afar watching, searching the earth, waiting for you to turn back; so that He could see your face again, to allow His glorious light to shine upon You - refreshing you; making you anew. With cloth in hand, He is ready to wipe away all your tears. No longer a lack-luster vessel of clay, no, no longer you are. Now, you are a royal priest, an adopted child in the royal family of God, an heir to the throne; no longer are you forsaken and abandoned, broken and naked, and fearful and ashamed. Now, today, you can shine with the excellency of your King; if only you will open the treasures which are now available, and due you as He willed.
He Has Prepared a Place for You. He has opened the bounty of His treasures, so that you may lavish yourself in them. He has tended to the garden in your stead. He has ensured that it will give you the comfort and rest that your weary soul longs to enjoy. Yonder from His throne of grace is a courtyard; a green pasture, rich in mercy for you to lay and rest your vanquished soul. Come and rest from the futility of your vain works which brought you to ruin. He will cover you with the blood, the sacrificial blood of atonement, where your soul will be refreshed. The precious blood that alone has the power to cover every far-reaching part of you, all the barren places in desperate need of the atoning covering. Nothing can be too far off, for the blood has been spilled, the hyssop has been dipped into the plenty, and the sprinkling has begun. After resting in the green pastures and feeding on the bread and water, this young priest's soul is refreshed and ready for service in the army of God. Now these dear children are ready to make war against the enemy of their soul; now they are ready to begin their good works of righteousness for having come near their God.
The Refreshed Priests are Ready for Good Works. After much preparation and purification by the washing of the water and the blood, the priests are now prepared. Having been robed and adorned with precious linens and royal gems, they are ready to perform their daily sacrifice before their Lord. They are ready to lay down every day of their lives upon the altar and eat of the Spiritual offerings to sustain them into eternal life. They are ready for service at the most holy altar, the most sacred and holy assembly before their righteous and tender-loving God. Now, for the rest of their days, they can make joyful melodies and lift up their holy hands in worship and thanksgiving to their redeeming and gentle Father who provides for all their needs, while taking all their burdens upon Himself so that they may rest and shine with His eternal glory.
Come now all you who are weary, come and drink and eat of the newness of life for the Father has called and the Son has shone with the dawning of man so that you may enter their rest and shine as a noonday star in their most holy assembly. Father, we pray, that You hear and welcome us - today - Father open the gates of Your mercy today so we can be flooded with the living waters of heaven which will sustain us in perfect peace and joy until the ushering in of the saints on the most glorious Day of the Lord. We give thanks due You; we praise Your most holy name. Amen.
