"I will declare the decree:" The LORD has said to Me, "You are My Son, Today I have begotten You," God has 'raised up' Jesus (Acts 13:33). Understanding the trinity was revolutionary for me, I could worship God without questioning the nature of God. I knew there was only one true God in heaven. So who was Jesus? Another God? It is critical because Jesus as another God would invalid God the Father. There is only One. Jesus had to be eternal, so he couldn't be 'born' with a beginning. My awaking came with the word, begotten which means to bring forth. At Jesus' birth, He wasn't born, He was brought forth from the Father's bosom (John 1:18). We can apply this understanding to Genesis 1:26-28 when God said, "Let us make man in our image." God the Father, The Son and the Holy Ghost always existed as three personages of the essence of God. Jesus was in heaven, but was brought to earth but is now back with the Father. God always desired to include us in union with Him.

"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh." Ezekiel 26:26. This is a promise God made to His children. He promised to remove the corrupt sin nature; the pride, the greed and the selfishness. Our hearts are so defiled they're not to be fix or mended, but rather completely replaced. We were made to live in holy communion, sharing and loving one another. When we give our lives to Christ (Justification), the Holy Spirit is sent into our hearts to begin the restoration which is a process (Sanctification). The cleansing takes a while because of our lack of faith and trust in giving all areas of our lives to the obedience and control of Christ Jesus. The refining fire focuses on one area at at a time, as we build our courage to give new areas of our heart to Him.

God created all things and all things were created for Him. Everything stems out from His existence including my life, including my thoughts. I only discovered that my world view was shaped from my knowledge of God, when I began to learn about Him. When I thought of God as wayward and too busy to help but always ready to judge me, my life seemed uncertain and fearful. Everything, success and failure were in my hands, and I wasn't sure I could manage it. But my life changed when I learned God was working behinds the scene helping and guiding me. This removed the uncertainty as I could trust in God to help me. The Lord works everything to is proper end (Proverbs 16:4). And we know that God causes all things to work together for the good of those who who love Him, to those who are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).

Having the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God live on the inside of you is certainly the greatest blessing, for the gospel even calls us a, "Blessed Generation." But second to that is certainly that gifts of the Holy Spirit for when He comes, He gives gifts to His children. This is awesome and powerful! These are supernatural gifts; or I like to say they're beyond human capability and each believer has at least one gift. So when the enemy tells you that you're worthless and your life is pointless, he is a liar for he has been since the beginning. This super-human ability that you've been gifted with also has the power of the Spirit to do what God wills it to do. He equips you for every good work for doing His will (2 Timothy 3:17, Hebrews 13:21). Rest in this truth and seek to glorify God by fully developing your gift especially in serving at your local church. We are all members of the body of Christ, which is the church. These gifts were given to build up and edify the other members. We all are to work together to strengthen and build the Kingdom of God. AMEN.

God's love for you is beyond imagination, really, it is, especially if you've never really been loved. If The people who should have protected you are the ones who hurt you, then this will be harder to understand but not impossible. It took me 5 years at a church which focused on the love of God for me to finally get it, but I had to go 2 times a week. It's almost unbelievable. How could a holy and righteous God love me and desire to spend eternity with me? There have been times I wept when He revealed Himself and His favor of me. The God of heaven and earth wants to spend time talking to me, literally. Not in an audible voice, but the still small voice within my heart, where He, the Holy Spirit lives. An indescribable peace will overtake you if you allow yourself to develop this same intimate relationship with LORD Jesus that I've come to know and trust. He is alive and active on the inside of you, if you're a believer.

The LORD is our protector and our defender. He is a mighty warrior. He promised to fight our battles, for they're not our battles at all. They're His battles. The enemy has been fighting against the LORD since the beginning. He wants to take our authority over this world and keep us captive in fear. But the LORD has set us free by defeating sin and death. He made a public disgrace of the enemy by coming back from the dead for fear of death was Satan's greatest weapon. We have been set free. We don't battle against flesh and blood but against spiritual darkness because they're always trying to take our freedom. They want us under their control again, the control of fear. We are sealed with the Holy Spirit, but we can grow weak in heart. This is why we must stand together for there is strength in numbers. Although we are attacked, we only have to stand in the day of the evil one. Arm yourself with the knowledge of God and call upon His holy name.

After surrendering my life to Jesus, my life was transformed. The LORD has done many works in me to set my faulting thinking straight. I used to be proud of my arrogance and sarcastic personality, only to find that it was passive aggressive behavior which hurt people. I've become a more kind and gentle person. The protective walls I built around my heart were only a barrier keeping me locked into a self-made prison. The LORD humbled my prideful root of self righteousness and replaced it with humility. I never realized that being gracious is far more lovely and inviting to be around for others and myself. I have peace of mind now that I conflict has been removed from my home and life. The innocent have nothing to fear for they have no guilty deeds to cover up; there is no shame. Comfort and peace are always with me now that I've allowed the LORD to do a refining work in me. I early await the additional fires that will burn off the remaining filth on me, for more of Christ will be manifested. Amen

The LORD provided a guide to help us with the perfect plans that He has for us, in the form of the bible. The fruits of our devotion in obeying His instruction is peace in our hearts, in our minds and in our lives. Peace. We can look to Him for guidance and protection for He is the way. We can ask Him to enter into our daily lives and right the wrongs, even if we helped create them. He is a forgiving God, who loves us with an everlasting love. He has wanted to be our God since the foundation of the world. When we learn to allow Him, through the Holy Spirit to guide our actions then we can find the peace that He promised us. Seek His kingdom and His righteousness and He will provide and protect you. You will find the much needed healing and rest in your life that you've always desired.

The greatest promise the LORD has made is that He would be our God and we would be His children. Hallelujah! What joy to know that there is a plan and purpose for our lives and this creation; that we are not alone; that He is going to look after us; and He is going to provide for all our needs. It's sometimes to profound a thought for me, but I only know in my heart that it is true beyond a shadow of a doubt because He has been there. He has provided for me. He has made the impossible - possible. He has brought all things together for my good. He has walked me through valleys and never abandoned me. We all can have this hope and reassurance because it's absolutely true and dependable. I have dedicated my life to sharing what I know to be true, and that is the love and protection of God, our heavenly Father.

This is a tried and true scripture to keep deep within your heart so when you encounter various trials in life, you can recall this verse. The word is sacred and holy and no word goes out void. The LORD never brings us to something that we can't get through. Hold the gospel up in faith to the LORD and proclaim His promises back to Him. He is ever watching and listening the prayers of those who love Him and do His will. There is no battle that can defeat us for He that is within us is greater than he who is in the world. Amen

The greatest love that could be bestowed upon us is an eternal everlasting love, which was present before we was ever created. This is the miraculous love of the Father for us. Before we were ever created the LORD had a plan for us. He set us apart for this plan. Whatever the LORD purposes to do for He that began a good work in us, will bring it to completion. This love is so great that He knew us before He created the world. He called us into being and wrote our names in the Lamb's book of life before He created the world. How marvelous! Let us cast off the lies of the enemy that our lives don't matter or have a purpose. Let us overcome all the binding of the world and curses and evil spoken over us, and let us accept the blessings the LORD has purposed for our lives. Let's find hope in the promises of God.

Are you living with fear, anxiety, stress or worry? Is life getting the best of you? Then cast all your cares upon Him. Allow Him to fight your battles for He is a mighty warrior who promises to help those who call upon His holy name. He lives forever and loves eternally. He is forever seeking to fulfill His promises to restore what the enemy has taken. Fight your battles in prayer and with the strength of the Holy Spirit living inside of you to guide you and to comfort you. AMEN

When we exercise our faith in the LORD, we are an example to the world that Jesus is alive especially through the trials of life. The LORD allows us to be tested to try our faith, to see if it is steadfast. But the testing of our faith, we know that we are children of God. Can you glorify God in the storms of life? Is your faith strong enough to maintain your joy and peace, regardless of what happens in life?

July 16, 2019
When we put our trust in the LORD and seek His will, then we find fulfillment and peace of mind for the LORD has an outstretched arm to help those who call upon His holy name. God sent His son into this world to help and save us. He didn't send Him to condemn us for condemnation was already upon us from the law of the prophets. With Jesus, He not only brought redemption for the Jews, but He also opened the throne room to gentiles. This was the great mystery which was revealed upon Jesus death and resurrection, that God's will was always to reunite Himself to mankind but also to reunite Jews and Gentiles. We are now one flesh forgiven by our creator. The free gift of salvation from the wrath of God is available for all. All are called but few are chosen. May your eyes be opened to the truth. AMEN

July 15, 2019
Each day we need to seek the LORD and His protection, because He is trustworthy and steadfast. The LORD knows the battles we face and He knows they are too big for us to handle alone. This is why Jesus came because of His great love and compassion for us. The LORD wants to help. He promised us that He would fight our battles for He is a mighty warrior. If we look at the LORD instead of our troubles, we maintain the peace of God. The LORD will bring all things together for our good and His glory. Just trust in Him and His unfailing love. The only thing required of us is to remain constant in our faith in reverent devotion to Him and for us to manifest His love that we have received to others. We are to take the love and comfort the LORD has shown us and be a beacon on a hill for others.

This precious truth is one of the oldest archives hidden in my heart. When I first began to allow the Holy Spirit to lead my, this is the verse I 'stood upon' first. When the enemy attacked to take me off track, I would recall this truth and speak it out loud. I would say it over and over again until I felt the peace of God. Storing biblical truths in our hearts is commanded for our own good, just like the rest of the commands. God designed and created us so He alone knows what is best for us. If we could continue to hold to the truth of knowing that God is for us and He is fighting our battles, then we can hold the peace and joy in our hearts and minds just as the LORD promised. Living in peace means we walk by faith not by sight.

July 13, 2019
It's easier for me to rejoice and be glad in the unfailing love of God, at this point then before. When I was a new believer who loved God but didn't KNOW Him, it wasn't as easy to worship Him. When I would see charismatics, I was upset with them, because it was if they said they had God but I didn't. I didn't understand because I loved Him too and knew He loved me. But having developed a personal intimate relationship with Him now, it's much easier to celebrate Him. Jesus is alive and desires a personal relationship. Now that I have Him as the LORD of my life and I allow Him to lead me in many many areas of my life, I'm able to be much more thankful because I've seen Him on a daily basis making His plan come together in my life. I don't have to worry about my circumstances because I know I am in His will. There is no great joy or security, then knowing you're in the will of God. AMEN.

July 12, 2019The LORD is faithful and steadfast. He is without change. He loved us before He spoke the world into existence and that never changed, even though we rebelled and turned against Him. He rescued us from our own failures while we resisted Him. This is a God who can be trusted. He can be gloried. He is worthy of praise, honor and glory, forevermore. When we open the door to our hearts and minds to find Him, He will meet us in that place. He seeks to be worshiped in Spirit and truth. He wants us to come to the throne, which has been opened to us through the blood of Jesus. He made that way open to us because He loves us. He wants a personal and intimate relationship with us. He holds all power and authority. He is willing to share it. He wants to move in your life and in your being. AMEN

July 11, 2019Let your goodness pour out upon me, dear God. Let the fullness of the Holy Spirit be my victory song. Fill me with your word for it will be a living well that spring forth life, vitality and abundant of peace and joy. Help me to leave the threats and fears of the enemy for you are my strength. The word of the LORD is a lamp upon our feet, when we have it stored in our hearts. With the worries of this world coming at us, we need to have the word stored in our hearts to strengthen our faith against the schemes of the enemy. Filling our hearts with the word will increase our faith and help us to stand in the day of the evil one.

July 10, 2019Praise God that He opened the throne room of heaven to a wretch like me. How sweet the blood of our LORD Jesus who died on the cross for the remission of our sins. How such more glorious is the resurrection from the dead and ascending to the right hand of the Father to make intercession for us by granting His righteousness. I can't imagine greater help then the taking of sins and giving of righteousness so we can be called Children of God, seeds of promise. This is our great hope that being absent in the body is to be with God; that we should have eternal life.
If God can send His only begotten Son as an atoning sacrifice for us, how much more can do to provide for our needs. All we have to do is seek His Kingdom and listen to that still small voice of the Holy Spirit. God loved us so much that He wrote our names in the Book of Life before He did His marvelous work of speaking creation into being. We are loved eternally. |
July 9, 2019My strength comes from the Lord for I have hidden His Holy Word in my heart. The bible has given me strength, direction, and purpose. By learning God's Holy Word, I developed a relationship with God. He is alive and He wants you to achieve the goals and plans He has set for you. Dedicate your life to learning His Holy Word.
